Job summary

Aviva Canada is seeking an experienced Ovation (High Net Worth) Claims Adjuster to deliver exceptional claims experience through expert handling and personalized client care. The role is hybrid, supporting flexible collaboration with internal and external partners.

You will investigate, negotiate, and settle complex property claims, maintain client relationships, and ensure data integrity across Aviva systems, while pursuing professional development and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of first-party claims handling experience focusing on Property Claims.
• Licenses for Atlantic provinces required (Adjusting)
• CIP or FCIP designation or equivalent insurance qualification preferred.
• Experience with high net worth or specialty markets is an asset.
• Proficiency with property claims scoping and estimating.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and negotiate Ovation and RBC High Net Worth / RBC Private Insurance property claims.
• Issue payments to vendors, customers and experts.
• Analyze estimates and negotiate settlements.
• Interpret policy coverage and communicate benefits to customers.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external partners in claims management.
• Ensure compliance and data accuracy in Aviva systems.
