Job summary

Element Elevators Inc. is seeking an experienced elevator technician to perform installation, maintenance, and repair work.

You will read blueprints, install control systems, and ensure safe operation of elevators and related equipment at customer sites. The role requires at least five years of hands-on experience, on-site work, and the ability to train apprentices while maintaining strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum one- to two-year college diploma in a related program.
• Five years or more of experience in elevator installation, maintenance or repair.
• On-site work with no remote option.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install elevators, escalators, moving walkways and dumbwaiters.
• Inspect wiring connections, control panel hookups, door installations and alignments and clearances of cars and hoistways.
• Read blueprints to determine work requirements and safety standards.
• Repair and maintain elevators, escalators, moving walkways and related equipment.
• Install and wire electric and electronic control system devices.
• Instruct apprentices and guide on safe practices.
• Test and adjust safety control devices and system operation.
• Troubleshoot electrical or mechanical failures and maintain logs of repairs.

Responsibilities

Tasks

• Assemble and install elevators, escalators, moving walkways and dumbwaiters
