• 4–5 years of elevator installation, repair, maintenance and modernization experience.
• Completion of an accredited elevator apprenticeship program or equivalent training.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, blueprints, and safety codes.
• Ability to work at heights and in enclosed spaces; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, and modernize elevator systems and components
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment complies with local, state, and federal safety codes
• Diagnose issues and perform necessary adjustments or part replacements
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent
• Respond to emergency service calls, including being on-call during off-hours

The ideal candidate will be skilled in the installation, repair, maintenance, and inspection of a wide variety of vertical transportation equipment, including elevators, escalators, and lifts.Candidates must meet the specific licensing requirements for the locations in which they intend to work.

• Comfortable working at various heights and in varying weather conditions
