Job summary

ETFO is seeking a Kindergarten to Grade 2 Multi-grade Classroom Long Term Occasional (LTO) Teacher for Elk Lake Public School. Start date is as soon as possible to December 18, 2026, with a closing date of 2026-10-02.

1.0FTE, existing vacancy, salary per ETFO Occasional Teacher agreement, prorated by FTE. Qualifications include OCT accreditation, Primary/Junior qualifications, and preferred Reading Part 1, Math Part 1, plus experience in primary classrooms and ULFI familiarity.

Qualifications

• Ontario College of Teachers Accreditation required or in good standing.
• Primary/Junior qualifications are mandatory for this LTO position.
• Reading Part 1 and Maths Part 1 qualifications preferred.
• Experience in primary division classrooms is advantageous.
• Familiarity with ULFI system is preferred.

Compensation

Salary in accordance with the provisions in the current ETFO - Occasional Teacher collective agreement Collective Agreement - prorated based on FTE.

A0-A2 (Steps 0-11): $54,016 - $100,146

A3-A4 (Steps 0-11): $67,397 - $120,363
