JA Northern Alberta is seeking an Elementary School Coordinator to organize JA’s programs for Grades 3–6, collaborate with teachers, schools and volunteers, and ensure smooth scheduling, onboarding and classroom readiness. You’ll focus on coordinating volunteers, providing training and ongoing support, while occasionally delivering JA programs in classrooms to stay connected with the learning experience.
This role helps JA reach thousands of students across our region, building strong school
At Junior Achievement of Northern Alberta (JA), we believe in the potential of young people. Through hands‑on learning in financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship, we help students build the skills and confidence they need for their futures.
We’re looking for a highly organized, people-focused Elementary Program Coordinator to help make those experiences happen for thousands of students across our region.
If you’re someone who loves bringing all the moving pieces together — coordinating schedules, working with schools, preparing volunteers and making sure everyone has what they need to be successful — this could be a great role for you.
As the JA Elementary School Coordinator, you’ll coordinate JA’s elementary programs for students in Grades 3–6, working closely with teachers, schools and volunteers to ensure programs are scheduled, staffed, supported and ready to go. A big part of the role is working with our volunteers. You’ll help onboard and prepare volunteers to step confidently into classrooms by providing program training, tools, resources and ongoing support.
You’ll spend some time in classrooms delivering JA programs yourself, but direct classroom facilitation is a smaller part of the role. Most of your time will be focused on making sure programs and volunteers are set up for success.
Inspire. Empower. Connect.
You’re organized, dependable and good with people. You enjoy coordinating details and keeping things moving, but you’re also comfortable standing in front of a group and leading a training session.
