Job summary

School District No. 60 (Peace River North) is seeking a temporary part-time LAT/SERT Teacher for Charlie Lake Elementary School.

The assignment is 0.3 FTE effective immediately until June 30, 2027, with responsibilities including teaching identified elementary subjects and supporting inclusive learning within a collaborative team. Qualifications include a BC Teaching Certificate (or eligibility), experience with universal design and differentiation, and a strong focus on Social Emotional

Qualifications

• Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate (or eligible)
• Experience with universal design and differentiation
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Experience/training/knowledge of Social Emotional Learning
• Ability to plan short- and long-term with BC Curriculum
• Willingness to work in a collaborative model
• Experience with IEPs/LSPs/BIPs for students with learning needs

Responsibilities

• Teach identified elementary subjects
• Collaborate with staff to develop and implement individual plans for students with academic, social and emotional learning needs
• Contribute to a positive classroom community and inclusive practices
