Job summary

Communications & Power Industries (CPI) seeks a skilled Technician to join our manufacturing team in Canada. You will build, test, troubleshoot, and rework complex electro‑mechanical assemblies while upholding strict quality and performance standards.

You will interpret drawings, perform RF and general electrical testing, and support root cause analysis with Manufacturing Engineering. A 3-year Electronics Technologist education and IPC 001 certification are required.

Qualifications

  • Three-year Electronics Engineering Technologist program or equivalent.
  • IPC J STD 001 certification required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on industry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Build, tune, test, and rework electro-mechanical assemblies to high quality, following drawings and SOPs.
  • Perform functional and performance testing of assemblies using approved procedures.
  • Interpret drawings to execute build and test activities accurately.
  • Support root cause failure analysis on new builds and field returns with Engineering and PMO.
  • Contribute to workstation organization and 5S practices; promote safe working practices.
