Job summary

Epiroc in Val-d'Or, on-site, is looking for an Electronics Technician to assemble, program, test, and repair electronic and communication systems and equipment.

The role requires 1–3 years in electronics, a DEC in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent, strong attention to detail, autonomy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines and safety standards. Additional duties may be required.

Qualifications

• DEC in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent, such as Programmable Electronics or Radio Communication Technology.
• 1–3 years of experience in electronics or communication systems.
• Strong attention to detail, autonomy and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and establish priorities.
• Knowledge of the mining industry is considered an asset.
• Valid Class 5 driver's licence is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, repair, program, and test equipment and systems;

• Perform various tests, analyses, and corrective actions to ensure that equipment meets Epiroc's quality requirements and established standards;
