Job summary

Fiera Foods seeks an on-site electronic technician in Toronto with 1–2 years of experience to assist in designing, developing and testing electronic components and systems.

You will help prepare estimates, schedules and reports, and support installation and operation of equipment. Prototyping and diagnostics with specialized test gear are involved.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation certificate is required.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience preferred.
• On-site position with no remote work.
• Willingness to work at a physical location in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, development and testing of electronic components and systems.
• Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications and reports.
• Assist in inspecting, testing and adjusting electronic components.
• Assist in building and testing prototypes to specifications.
• Conduct or supervise installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems.
• Set up and operate test equipment to diagnose, test and analyze performance of components, assemblies and systems.
• Experience with robotic equipment, electronic testing equipment and systems is a plus.
• Industry experience in manufacturing.
