Job summary

Eddyfi Technologies, located in Quebec, seeks an Electronics Designer to design circuits and contribute to system design, participating in all stages from prototyping to production.

You will bring 5+ years of electronics design experience, proficiency in analog circuits, and familiarity with CE/RoHS standards to deliver robust designs for ET/UT product lines under a collaborative and innovative team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with electronics specialization.
  • Minimum 5 years of electronics design experience.
  • Experience with CE and RoHS standards is a plus.
  • Experience with Altium or similar schematic design tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Design functional diagrams for electronics systems.
  • Perform circuit calculations and simulations.
  • Design connectivity and enclosure for assemblies.
  • Oversee printed circuit board layout (PCB).
  • Write and execute test programs for prototypes.
  • Write manufacturing procedures.
  • Design manufacturing tools.

This role is part of our ET/UT product line.

The person in this position designs electronic circuits and contributes to system design. He or she participates in all stages of development: design, prototyping, validation, and transition to production.

As Electronics Designer, you must be able to

  • Design functional diagrams.
  • Perform circuit calculations and simulations.
  • Design the connectivity and enclosure.
  • Oversee the design of printed circuit boards (layout)
  • Write and implement test programs for prototypes.
  • Write manufacturing procedures.
  • Design manufacturing tools.

What makes you an asset to our team

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with a specialization in electronics
  • At least five years of experience in electronics design.
  • Proficiency in analog circuit development.
  • Knowledge of CE and RoHS standards. (Asset).
  • Knowledge of Altium or other electronic schematic design software. (Asset).
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
