Job summary

Eddyfi Technologies is seeking a Precision Assembler to perform high-precision assembly tasks using assembly procedures, mechanical drawings and electrical diagrams. You will contribute to building advanced systems that support critical infrastructure across energy, transportation and beyond.

Ideal candidates will have experience in electronic assembly, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work with microscopes and lead-free soldering.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronic assembly is preferred.
• LEAN production environment experience is an asset.
• Meticulousness, precision and manual dexterity are essential.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and diagrams.
• Comfort working with a microscope and lead-free soldering.

Responsibilities

• Wiring, soldering and assembling components for mechanical, electronic or electrical systems.
• Repair or update units and products while maintaining quality standards.
• Follow detailed assembly plans, schematics and procedures.
• Identify and communicate irregularities to the production team lead.
• Adhere to production pace and quality targets.
• Perform other production tasks as required.

As Precision Assembler, you must be able to

• Wiring, soldering and assembling various components for mechanical, electronic or electrical systems.
• Repair or update units and products.
• Maintain production and quality standards.
• Communicate irregularities in assembly procedures, mechanical parts, electrical continuity and quality to the production team leader.
• Use precision tools and measuring devices to perform assembly activities.
• Follow verbal and written instructions such as detailed plans, schematics, procedures and assembly sketches when performing various assembly and sub‑assembly tasks.
• All other tasks related to production.

What Makes You An Asset To Our Team

• Secondary school diploma (D.E.S.) or related Diploma of Vocational Studies (D.E.P.) or a certificate in electronic assembly. (Asset).
• Experience in electronic assembly (a considerable asset).
• Experience working in a LEAN production environment (asset).
• Meticulousness, precision and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work with a microscope.
• Ability to solder with lead‑free tin (e.g. micro‑coaxial wire, electronic components –SMT)(asset).
• Ability to read and interpret plans.
• Customer‑oriented.
• Autonomous.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Available on occasion to work overtime.
