Brandt is currently seeking an Electronic Field Technician for the Ottawa region.

This position is responsible for performing installations, calibrations, commissioning, service, and repair of various machine control systems. These systems include electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic components and are installed on most makes and models of heavy equipment, including but not limited to crawler dozers, motor graders, excavators, skid steers, and paving systems. Duties may be performed in the field or in a workshop environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Perform inspections, testing, diagnostics, and repairs on electronic devices and components.
2. Open, maintain, and close work orders.
3. Submit technician reports and other relevant documentation based on the work completed.
4. Provide internal and external customer phone support.
5. Mentor, train, and supervise other members of the service team.
6. Travel as required.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.
