Primo Brands in Hope, BC is seeking an Industrial (Electromechanical) Maintenance Mechanic to install, maintain, and repair automated, computer‑controlled, and robotic machinery. The role blends mechanical and electrical expertise to support production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has Red Seal certification and hands-on experience with PLCs, robotics, and automation, with strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Red Seal certification required.
• Experience with production equipment maintenance in manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with PLC/robotics knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair automated and robotic machinery.
• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electromechanical issues.
• Conduct tests to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
• Perform emergency repairs with minimal downtime.
• Record maintenance activities and maintain safety standards.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers.
