Job summary

Hood Packaging Corporation is seeking an experienced Electromechanic for our East Angus plant to ensure the reliable operation of production equipment and to perform diagnostics, preventive and corrective maintenance across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

The role requires a DEC/DEP in Electromechanics (or related field) and 3–5 years of relevant industrial maintenance experience. The schedule varies with 10-hour and 12-hour shift patterns, as detailed in the posting.

Qualifications

• College diploma (DEC) or vocational diploma (DEP) in Electromechanics, Industrial Mechanics with electrical training, or an equivalent qualification.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience in industrial electromechanical maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper operation and reliability of production equipment by working on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform diagnostics, preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as adjustments to maintain optimal equipment performance.

• Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
