Job summary

Hood Packaging Corporation is seeking an experienced Electromechanic for our East Angus plant to ensure the proper operation and reliability of production equipment. You will diagnose, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and make necessary adjustments to maintain optimal performance.

Required: College diploma (DEC) or vocational diploma (DEP) in Electromechanics or equivalent, plus 3–5 years of relevant experience in industrial electromechanical maintenance.

Qualifications

• College diploma (DEC) or vocational diploma (DEP) in Electromechanics, Industrial Mechanics with electrical training, or an equivalent qualification.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience in industrial electromechanical maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper operation and reliability of production equipment by working on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform diagnostics, preventive and corrective maintenance, and necessary adjustments to maintain optimal equipment performance.

POSITION

Hood Packaging Corp orati on is seeking an experienced Electromechanic for our East Angus plant.

SCOPE OF POSITION

Reporting to the Maintenance Director, the Electromechanic is responsible for ensuring the proper operation and reliability of production equipment by working on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. The role involves performing diagnostics, preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as the necessary adjustments to maintain optimal equipment performance.

FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• College diploma (DEC) or vocational diploma (DEP) in Electromechanics, Industrial Mechanics with electrical training, or an equivalent qualification.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience in industrial electromechanical maintenance.

The work schedule is determined based on seniority.

10-hour shift:

Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Or

12-hour shift:

• Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
• Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
