Magna Exteriors in Vaughan, Canada, is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems for robotic automation lines. You will program ABB/Fanuc/Panasonic robots, weld with MIG/StiG/Tig, and handle hydraulic/pneumatic components as needed.

The role requires PLC/industrial electrician certifications, 5+ years in manufacturing, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

  • Industrial Electrician certification or PLC certification is required.
  • Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to create, modify and follow robot programs for ABB, Fanuc, Panasonic.
  • MIG, Stick and TIG welding experience.
  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic fundamentals preferred.
  • LabVIEW experience is an asset.
  • Experience troubleshooting robots.

Responsibilities

  • Install and wire power supply and conduit for new machines and robots.
  • Connect power supply and interface wiring between equipment.
  • Diagnose transformers, motors and light fixtures and replace damaged components.
  • Repair or replace faulty electrical components such as relays and sensors.
  • Test equipment and discuss corrective actions with management.
  • Ensure safe operations and cleanup at shift end.
  • Communicate issues to supervisor and be flexible with shifts.
