Job summary

Magna Exteriors in Ontario is seeking an Industrial Electrician to maintain automated systems, perform preventative maintenance, and repair paint and assembly equipment across exterior components lines.

Role requires 5 years of Industrial Electrician experience, PLC/robotics/HMI knowledge, and ability to read schematics. You will prioritize safety, work with technicians, and contribute to continuous improvement in a global manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 English and Math or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Industrial Electrician.
• Knowledge of PLC, robotic, and HMI programming and controls.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical/electronic equipment.
• Ability to read, interpret and design electrical schematics.
• Experience with control wiring, conduit, power wiring and motor control.
• Technical documentation proficiency.
• Experience with continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience with Fanuc and/or ABB Robotics is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Automated system maintenance, and troubleshooting.
