Job summary

Hydra Fabricators Inc. in Alberta seeks a certified Journeyman Electrician to read blueprints, install conduit, and fabricate power and control panels for unit installations.

You will work onsite, applying CSA standards and safety protocols, with 1-2 years of related experience and a strong commitment to teamwork and safe work practices.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered Journeyman.
• 1-2 years of related experience.
• Experience using various hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams and build electronic components
• Install and terminate conduit, cable, equipment, panels, sensors, etc.
• Construct and fabricate power and control panels for unit installation
• Apply knowledge of current electrical code and CSA standards
• Conduct required pre-job/pre-task inspections
• Complete scheduled work in cooperation with the Foreman
• Maintain a tidy, clean and safe work area
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment at all times
