Job summary

Hydra Fabricators Inc. is seeking a fabrication assistant to participate in the fabrication and assembly of parts at our Alberta facility. You will help unload and load products for delivery and assist trades on various projects.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of related experience, be comfortable using hand tools, and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety. The role emphasizes teamwork, self-motivation, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication and assembly of parts under supervision
• Unloading products received and loading finished products for delivery
• Assist trades
• Familiarize self with new projects and duties
• Organize and clean
• Move materials with a forklift or overhead crane if trained and authorized
• Other duties as required.
• Conduct required pre-job/pre-task inspections
• Complete scheduled work in cooperation with the Foreman
• Maintain a tidy, clean and safe work area
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment at all times
