SUMMARY OF POSITION

We are looking for a 309A Licensed Journeyman Electrician with experience working in commercial settings and managing several jobs. You will be responsible for teaching and working alongside an Electrical Apprentice. Most of our work is in the Greater Toronto Area.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Complete office renovations, including installing panels, new lighting and power, etc.

Replace wall packs and pole lighting using a bucket truck.

Complete emergency service calls, such as repairs to equipment that have lost power.

Install and troubleshoot fire alarm systems, which includes new panels, devices, pipe and wiring, etc.

Upgrade service equipment (i.e., panels, transformers, secondary feeders from hydro, etc.).

Read and interpret blueprints, line diagrams, and more to successfully complete a job.

Perform other duties, as required.

REQUIREMENTS

Valid Driver’s License is required.

Current 309A Journeyman Electrician License is required.

1-year experience as a Journeyman Electrician is preferred.

Ability to work independently and alongside a team.

An understanding of blueprints, line diagrams, etc.

Ability to manage a small team.

Possess troubleshooting skills.

Experience running a service truck.

Eagerness to learn.

Knowledge and experience working with fire alarms is an asset, but is not required.

Willingness to work overtime, be on call for emergencies, late nights and weekends when needed.

Pay: $40.00-$48.00 per hour
