Job summary

FGF Brands Inc. is seeking a skilled Control Electrician to support our plant operations in Ontario. You will install, maintain, and test electrical systems, including PLCs and building controls, to ensure continuous production.

The role requires an Ontario Electrician License, at least two years of industrial electrician experience, and willingness to travel between GTA sites. We offer competitive pay and benefits as part of a growing food manufacturing company.

Qualifications

• Ontario Electrician License required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and travel between GTA sites when required.
• Experience with retrofits; modifications; overhaul of equipment.
• Minimum 2 years industrial electrician experience.
• Past experience in a food manufacturing facility is a definite asset.
• Experience with wiring systems; panels; etc.
• Good command of the English language required.
• Computer literate (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, test electrical equipment, PLCs, low and high-voltage building systems, and instrumentation.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.).
• Modify existing equipment in order to improve performance.
• Follow all GMP, Health & Safety, Food Safety & Environmental Standards.

Overview

The Control Electrician is responsible for providing overall electrical support to our plant operations, production; manufacturing and building electrical systems to ensure continuous operations.

Pay Rate: Starting at $42.10+ per hour plus $1 premium for night hours and $2 premium for weekend hours.
