Work Schedule and Benefits
  • Continuous 12-hour shifts, 4 days on, 4 days off, rotating biweekly

Job Responsibilities
  1. Perform all functions of an electrician.
  2. Analyze electronic circuits, wiring diagrams, schematics, and drawings to inspect, install, repair, calibrate, and service electronic devices and systems, including communication, production, control, and measurement equipment.
  3. Plan work procedures, determine material needs, and troubleshoot problems.
  4. Create sketches and design modifications for components and layouts.
  5. Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble electronic devices, performing mechanical repairs as needed.
  6. Inspect and test electronic equipment for safety and proper operation.
  7. Apply knowledge of electrical principles, wiring codes, material properties, and equipment operation.
  8. Prepare ladder diagrams for programmable control systems such as Allen Bradley, Modicon, Texas Instruments, etc.
  9. Maintain and update electrical drawings, noting modifications and seeking approval for safety-related changes.
  10. Replace faulty electrical components like relays, switches, motors, and sensors.
  11. Maintain and troubleshoot pressco camera systems.
  12. Keep records of repairs, calibrations, and tests, using computer systems.
  13. Record daily entries in the shop log book.
  14. Report unsafe conditions or equipment deterioration to supervisors.
  15. Secure electrical cabinets with locks or seals.
  16. Notify production supervisors upon completion of work for resumption of operations.
  17. Start up, monitor, and shut down equipment as authorized, including gas-fired ovens.
  18. Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area.
  19. Ensure safety equipment and guards are used properly and follow safety procedures and rules.
Job Requirements

442A or 339A Electrician License is mandatory.
