Job summary

Magna Mining Inc. is seeking 4 experienced Electricians to join the Levack Mine team in Greater Sudbury, Ontario.

You will work underground, prioritize health and safety, collaborate cross-functionally, and contribute to Magna's objective of building a major nickel-copper operation. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems; performing inspections; ensuring compliance with the Electrical Safety Code and Ontario mining regulations; and

Qualifications

• Electrical apprenticeship or equivalent certification/experience.
• Certification of Qualification or Red Seal as 309A or 442A is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, including power distribution, motors, controls, lighting, and communication systems.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Diagnose electrical faults and safely restore equipment to service.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with Ontario mining regulations, the Electrical Safety Code, and company policies.
• Lock out, tag out, and verify energy isolation before performing work.
• Maintain accurate maintenance, inspection, and repair records.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, maintenance teams, and operations personnel.
• Identify, report, and correct electrical hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas underground.

Education

Electrical apprenticeship or equivalent certification/experience
