Job Overview

Lake of the Woods Electric is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. This role involves working on residential, commercial, industrial, and government projects, ensuring that all electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance meet industry standards. We are looking for candidates with at least four years of experience in the electrical field who are eager to bring their expertise while learning our processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for residential, commercial, industrial, and government projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical diagrams
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions, wiring issues, and faulty equipment
  • Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and national electrical codes
  • Work safely and follow OSHA and workplace safety protocols
  • Operate a variety of tools, meters, and testing equipment
  • Train and mentor apprentices in electrical work and safety procedures
  • Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely project completion

Qualifications

  • 309A Electrical License (Required)
  • Minimum 4.5 years of experience in the electrical field
  • Experience in residential, commercial, industrial, or government electrical work
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Must have basic electrical tools.
