Job summary

FGF Brands is seeking an Electrician to support our plant operations and manufacturing. The Control Electrician will provide electrical support and build electrical systems to ensure continuous operations at our facility in Canada.

The role starts at CAD 42.10 per hour with additional premiums for night hours and weekends. The successful candidate will install and maintain electrical equipment, troubleshoot PLCs, and modify equipment to improve performance, all while adhering to GMP and safety

Qualifications

• Ontario Electrician Licence is required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and travel between GTA sites.
• Minimum 2 years industrial electrician experience.
• Past experience in a food manufacturing facility is a definite asset.
• Experience with wiring systems; panels; etc.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, test electrical equipment, PLCs, low and high voltage building systems, and instrumentation.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.).
• Modify existing equipment in order to improve performance.
• Follow all GMP, Health & Safety, Food Safety & Environmental Standards

Summary

The Control Electrician is responsible for providing overall electrical support to our plant operations, production; manufacturing and building electrical systems to ensure continuous operations.

Pay Rate: Starting at $42.10+ per hour plus $1 premium for night hours and $2 premium for weekend hours.

Primary Responsibilities:
