Job summary

TremTech Electrical Systems Inc. is seeking a licensed electrician to join our field team. You will install, repair, and service electrical controls and systems across residential, commercial, and institutional sites.

The role involves reading blueprints, installing underground wiring, testing circuits, and ensuring safety standards on-site. You must have a valid Electrician Trade Certification and Red Seal, and be prepared for on-site work at various locations in Canada.

Qualifications

• Electrician Trade Certification and Construction Electrician Red Seal Certificate required.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Experience in construction, service, installation and troubleshooting is an asset.
• On-site work at multiple locations in Canada with outdoor and confined-space conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical controls and panel boxes.
• Replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications.
• Test and measure voltage, loads and fault isolation.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults.
• Ground and bond equipment and structures.
• Install underground wiring and cables.
• Design and construct single-phase service for installations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

TASKS

• Install electrical controls and panel boxes
• Replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes

• Design and construct single-phase service for single or multimeter installations
• Splice, join and connect wires
• Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits
• Troubleshoot and isolate faults
• Connect power to audio and visual equipment
• Install power generation, stand‑by power generation and power conditioning systems
• Ground and bond electrical equipment, systems and structures including swimming pools and hot tubs
• Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
