Job summary

Green Lantern Electrical is seeking an entry-level apprentice to support on-site electrical installation and maintenance across residential, commercial, and service projects in Alberta. No prior experience is required as on-the-job training will be provided.

The role involves installing underground wiring, splicing and connecting wires, setting up surface mount and overhead cables, and grounding equipment. You will read blueprints and participate in a team-based environment.

Qualifications

• No formal degree required; on-the-job training provided.
• CSTS certificate is listed; apprenticeship training level one available.

Responsibilities

• Install underground wiring and cables.
• Splice, join and connect wires.
• Install surface mount and/or overhead cables.
• Ground and bond electrical equipment, systems and structures including swimming pools and hot tubs.
• Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications.
