Qualifications

• Completed at least two years of a degree in Electrical discipline or enrolled in the Electrical Engineering Technology program at RRC Polytech
• Minimum GPA 2.5; preferred GPA 3.0 or higher
• Experience with AutoCAD design software, PLC's and automation would be a benefit
• Leadership roles in student organizations or extracurricular activities
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented with great organizational qualities
• Ability to work independently and be a fast-learner

Responsibilities

• Update equipment/facility drawings
• Work with outside vendors and consultants, assist in managing contractors
• Assist engineers on capex improvement projects
• Work closely with and support electrical planner
• Manage smaller non-capex projects
• Plan electrical jobs and order parts
