Position Details

Electrical Analyst / Technologist

Location: Onsite – K3, Esterhazy, Saskatchewan

Responsibilities

1. Maintain a comprehensive condition-based monitoring program on various electrical assets using infrared, ultrasound, and motor circuit analysis technologies.
2. Collect, analyze, and report data on equipment defects.
3. Manage programs for Motor Circuit Analysis, Ultrasound, and Infrared, including data collection and analysis.
4. Handle warehousing, direct ordering, and requisitioning of spare parts and supplies.
5. Work independently and collaborate with maintenance staff.
6. Review machine performance with operators and recommend maintenance actions.
7. Read and interpret drawings, prints, sketches, and manuals.
8. Follow written and oral instructions and prepare reports.
9. Ensure compliance with environmental, OH&S, and safety regulations.

Qualifications

1. Diploma from a recognized institute as an Electrical Engineering Technologist or equivalent.
2. Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan driver’s license.
3. 0-8+ years of experience in mining or industrial operations preferred.
4. Certifications in Infrared, Ultrasound, Motor Circuit Analysis (Level I and II), Vibration Analysis.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, networking, and data management software.
6. Knowledge of 600v, 4160v, 5kv power systems and switchgear.
7. Understanding of motor controls and VFDs.
8. Qualified Electrical Worker.
