Job summary

Steam Sauna Inc. is seeking a skilled electrical engineer to join our on-site team in Toronto. The role involves installing and maintaining equipment, reading blueprints, testing systems, and contributing to prototype development while ensuring safety and compliance.

The candidate should have 2–3 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams in a hands‑on setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in electrical/electronic engineering or a closely related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline is required.
• Equivalent practical experience may be considered in lieu of education.

Responsibilities

• Install equipment.
• Interpret blueprints or instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation.
• Maintain equipment and service electrical systems.
• Read blueprints or instructions to determine work requirements.
• Test power equipment and systems.
• Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications and reports.
• Write specifications.
• Assist in inspecting, testing and adjusting electronic components.
• Conduct safety training programs.
• Assist in building and testing prototypes to specifications.
• Carry out applied research in electrical/electronic engineering and physics.
• Supervise installation, commissioning and operation of equipment and systems.
• Set up and operate test equipment to diagnose and analyze performance.
• Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports.
