Job summary

ADEPT ELECTRICAL SERVICES LTD is seeking an electrician with 1–2 years of experience for work across residential and commercial sites. The role involves replacing and repairing electrical controls, installing underground wiring, splicing and wiring, and constructing low voltage systems for multiple installations.

The candidate will read blueprints, test circuits, troubleshoot faults, and ensure safe grounding and bonding of equipment.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation certificate required.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of related electrical experience.

Responsibilities

• Replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes.
• Install underground wiring and cables.
• Splice, join and connect wires; design and construct low voltage multiplex service.
• Test and measure voltage, loads and ground faults in circuits.
• Troubleshoot and isolate faults.
• Connect power to audio and visual equipment.
• Install surface mount and/or overhead cables.
• Install power generation and standby power systems.
• Ground and bond electrical equipment and structures.
• Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures.
• Conduct preventive maintenance programs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications.
