Job summary

Stellar Recruitment Inc. seeks an Electrical Systems Engineer for a heavy industrial manufacturing environment in North Vancouver. You will contribute across the full lifecycle—from requirements to design, analysis, and project close-out—focusing on safety, quality, and technical excellence.

You will develop deliverables such as load lists, single line diagrams, BOMs, and control wiring diagrams while mentoring teammates and meeting schedule requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, plus 3+ years' relevant experience.
• Experience with electrical, controls, and instrumentation systems in heavy industry.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical engineering and design support for Electrical Power Systems, including design packages and documentation.
• Develop and maintain deliverables: Electrical Load Lists, Single Line Diagrams, Cable Diagrams, I&C Lists, IC Diagrams, and wiring diagrams.
• Participate in all phases of new construction projects from requirements to close-out.
• Conduct trade studies and evaluations to optimize solutions and costs.
• Develop material specs and BOMs per standards and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor others, and ensure safety and quality.
