LocationThis position is located at project sites in the GTA and will be required to work on projects all across the area.
ResponsibilitiesElectrical Superintendents’ responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
• A minimum of five years experience as General Foreman or Superintendent supporting large transit related construction projects.
• Management of union labor a plus
• Minimum 5 years of directing and supervising electrical crews.
• Broad understanding of technical electrical systems, including but not limited to:
• Underground layout and installation
• Familiarity with rail related electrical systems.
• Above ground systems layout and installations, including but not limited to:
• Conduit installations within hazardous locations
• Cable tray systems
• Cable pulling in conduit and tray
• Experience managing 20-50 craft employees at one time
• Prepared to attend meetings with customers and owners/general contractors
• Must have a positive attitude and possess excellent motivational skills
• Adapt to new surroundings and new people
• Must be able to access all points of a construction site
• Must be able to work with a team and provide input
• Working knowledge of computers and experience with the use of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Willing to travel to projects all across the GTA regardless of what side of town or area.

• Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment
• Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
• Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
