Job summary

Smith + Andersen’s Vancouver office is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to lead complex electrical building services projects. You will prioritize tasks, develop roadmaps, and ensure deadlines and details align across clients, consultants, and contractors.

As a senior professional, you’ll communicate clearly with stakeholders, manage multiple projects, and drive successful project delivery on some of Canada’s landmark builds with a collaborative team culture and strong mentorship

Qualifications

• Five or more years of project engineering experience in electrical building services.
• Senior C.E.T. with equivalent experience considered.
• Strong leadership and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication with clients, consultants, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or assist with development of system engineering concepts and design briefs.
• Review design against construction budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors; manage change notices and contract administration.
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards; supervise internal project team coordination.
• Organize client meetings and deliver presentations to owner.
