Job summary

Smith + Andersen in Ottawa, Canada, invites an Associate to lead project control efforts across design and implementation. You will own project outcomes, guide teams, and collaborate closely with clients to deliver on scope, schedule, and budget.

Qualifications

  • Experience in project controls or construction/project management preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for all phases of the project management lifecycle, including kickoff, milestones, stakeholder communications, scheduling, quality, risk, staff supervision, and closeout.
  • Oversee contract administration activities: reviews, site activities, submittals, RFIs and change management.
  • Coordinate project schedules, milestones, approvals and interdisciplinary dependencies across internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks; escalate issues as needed.
