Randstad Canada partners with a global industrial manufacturer in Mississauga to identify an Project Coordinator. The role links design, purchasing, and production to review specs, compile BOMs, and select components for burner upgrades and automation systems.

Ideal candidates hold a degree/diploma in electrical engineering or technology and have 2–3 years in a technical setting, with AutoCAD proficiency and experience in Inventor and ERP systems. Growth and non-union environment highlighted.

Qualifications

Education: Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology (Electrical focus is strongly preferred).
Experience: 2–3 years in a technical/manufacturing setting.
Must-have: Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
Assets: Experience with Autodesk Inventor and ERP systems (e.g., Sage/Accpac, SAP).
Solid understanding of motor power supply, protection sizing, fuse selection, and automation concepts.
HVAC or combustion industry experience is a major asset but not required.
High level of accuracy in managing complex technical documentation.
Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Technical Review: Analyze project specifications, wiring schematics, and mechanical layout drawings to identify components.
BOM Management: Create and maintain Bills of Materials and project pick lists.
Procurement Support: Partner with Purchasing to order parts, track long-lead items, and maintain inventory.
Production Liaison: Align material availability with manufacturing schedules with the Production Manager.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Sales and Engineering to track progress and communicate requirements to vendors.
