Position Summary

Strike's Electrical Project Coordinator provides administrative project management assistance. The coordinator is responsible for overseeing cost activities, document control, and estimating on construction projects of all sizes. The project coordinator analyzes and forecasts project costs and provides detailed project information related to contractual schedule, scope, and cost, recommending improvements or corrective actions for the project.

Position Details

• Local work in Fort Saskatchewan
• 5/2 shift
• 48-hour work week

Core Accountabilities

• Coordinate miscellaneous purchasing with the Superintendent
• Track installed quantities
• Research change orders and perform takeoffs
• Coordinate electrical field install work packages
• Complete a 3-week look-ahead plan
• Collaborate with other contractors and the owner to schedule work

Qualifications

Education

• Must be a certified Journeyperson Electrician

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a journeyperson
• Previous project coordinator experience is an asset
• Previous supervisory experience is an asset

Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities

• Ability to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Meticulous record-keeping abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
