This Sr. Project Manager role is within the customer engagement arm of the Granicus Digital Services Implementation Team and is a key member of the Implementation Services (IS) team. This team helps government agencies create valued online services and partners with customers to enhance how they support their communities through strategic experience management.

As a Sr. Project Manager, you will be a key partner in the successful rollout of projects across our customer base. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping customers achieve their strategic objectives. Your responsibilities start at project kick-off by providing the client with a project plan, overseeing discovery and requirements gathering, and ensuring proper training for implementation—empowering customers to utilize the system to its fullest potential.

  • Candidates must be able to obtain a 'Secret'-level Canadian Government Clearance. This requires Canadian citizenship and 10 years of stable Canadian residency.
  • Due to interaction with the Canadian Federal government, candidates must be bilingual in French.

What your impact will look like :

  • Manage large customer projects during the implementation lifecycle.
  • Serve as the primary contact on large programs for high-touch clients, providing insights on system performance, best practices, and account updates.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
  • Advise customers on improving their online processes, keeping user experience top-of-mind.
  • Track progress against milestones, budgets, and other indicators; prepare reports for senior management.
  • Create and maintain project plans and documentation.
  • Identify and mitigate potential implementation risks early.
  • Assess customer business processes, anticipate requirements, and develop solutions.
  • Enable customers to utilize the AMANDA Product aligned with their goals.
  • Participate in sprint planning, review, and retrospectives, providing feedback.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and foster relationships across the company.

  • Ability to obtain a Secret Level Security Clearance from the Canadian Government.

Preferred Skills and Background

  • Experience as a program manager for high-touch clients.
  • Project Management Professional Certification or equivalent.
  • Experience working with remote teams.
  • Knowledge of city/county planning, land-use regulations, and related laws.
  • Previous experience with the AMANDA product.

Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per year + bonus and benefits. Security Requirement: Responsible for maintaining Granicus information security per company policies. Must be willing and able to obtain and maintain a Secret-level security clearance through the Canadian Government.

Languages: English and bilingual Canadian French required.
