Job summary

Silent-Aire Limited Partnership is seeking a QC Inspector Electrical with Journeyman certification for our Edmonton-based facility. The role focuses on maintaining QA/QC documentation, conducting daily inspections of in-process units, and ensuring assemblies meet design and safety standards.

You will perform sub-assembly and final inspections, organize inspection records, and assist other inspectors and production staff. This is a full-time on-site position in Alberta.

Qualifications

• Journeyman electrical inspector certification is required.
• Experience with QA/QC documentation and recordkeeping.
• Ability to inspect electrical assemblies and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Clear communication of deficiencies to Quality Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain QA/QC control documentation.
• Document control – organize inspection papers and online photos.
• Daily inspection of in-process units to ensure quality and completeness.
• Complete sub-assembly inspections (motor, coil, evap., furnace, paint).
• Perform unit final inspections and package units.
• Report safety issues to Safety Coach or Safety Coordinator.
• Assist education of other inspectors and production team members.
• Inspect drawings/marking and support engineering changes.
• Organize all inspection documentation from start to finish.

Silent-Aire is a technology driven company that designs, engineers and manufactures hyperscale cooling and modular data center solutions.This role is located at our facility in Nisku and you must have a reliable transportation to commute.**Roles & Responsibilities*** Create and Maintain QA/QC control documentation.* Document Control – organize all inspection documentation papers and online photos provided by inspectors.* Daily inspection of in process units: ensure sealing is completed, no missing parts, and all other in process inspections are of high quality.* Ensure productions are inspected as determined by company requirements, checking of paperwork.* Daily inspection of paperwork for all in process units and report any deficiencies to Quality Supervisor.* Complete sub assembly inspections such as: motor, coil, evap., furnace, and paint.* Complete unit final inspections.* Review inspection documents and make unit packages.* Report any observed safety issues to the Safety Coach or Safety Coordinator.* Assist with education of other inspectors and production team members.* Inspect drawings and marking/breaking work and ensure it is correct.* Assist marking with Engineering changes where drawings are not correct and submit to Quality Supervisor.* Inspect all aspect of units with the appropriate forms from the beginning to the end and record all discrepancies.* Organize all inspection documentation papers and online photos.* Performs all duties in accordance with Silent-Aire Limited Partnership safety program standards and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations, and Code.* Other duties as required.**Working Conditions*** Commercial/Industrial environment.* Exercise caution, as the environment presents many naturally occurring hazards.* Always adhere to safety policies (wear protective equipment).* Long periods of standing.* Overtime as required
