Job summary

Curtiss-Wright’s Sensors & Controls division in Stratford, Ontario, seeks an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to design, develop and implement manufacturing methods for electro‑mechanical assemblies. You will review designs for manufacturability, build testing procedures and drive continuous improvement across production lines.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical preferred) and 3–5+ years in manufacturing engineering with CAD capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in applicable Engineering field (Electrical preferred).
  • 3–5+ years in a Manufacturing Engineering role with an Electrical focus.
  • Working knowledge of brushless DC motors and rotary transformers.
  • Strong CAD software skills for tool design.
  • Ability to evaluate, create and improve manufacturing processes, including equipment, documentation and training.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes Manufacturing process flow and work instruction.
  • Create and update manufacturing standard procedure defining specific manufacturing processes.
  • Coordinate with design engineering for release of new products and review of engineering drawings.
  • Perform analyses related to labor standards and review product/project flow data to increase productivity.
  • Coordinate evaluation of engineering changes and liaise with program management, finance, design, quality, procurement, inspection and production.
