Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment, controls, and power distribution systems.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance activities.
• Install, test, and commission electrical equipment, wiring, panels, and related systems.
• Diagnose faults in PLC-controlled equipment and drives.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Support plant shutdowns, upgrades, and major maintenance projects.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Follow codes and safety procedures, including lockout-tagout.

We are currently seeking a Electrical Maintainer to join our Maintenance Team in Saint John, New Brunswick.

The hourly wage for this role will be $47.13

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment, controls, and power distribution systems
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance activities
• Install, test, and commission electrical equipment, wiring, conduit, control panels, and related systems
• Diagnose faults in PLC-controlled equipment, motor control centers, variable frequency drives, and automated systems
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, technical manuals, and equipment specifications
• Support plant shutdowns, equipment upgrades, and major maintenance projects
• Partner with operations and maintenance team members to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime
• Complete electrical work in accordance with applicable codes, safety procedures, and best practices, including lockout requirements

Qualifications

• Red Seal Industrial Electrician Certification
• Journeyperson status in good standing
• Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Welding and fabrication experience is considered an asset
