Techmation Electric & Controls Ltd is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Journeyman & Apprentices for our Sparwood branch. The role involves maintenance and construction work on oil and gas projects across Western Canada, with a 7 on, 7 off shift pattern.

Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates. We offer opportunities to work on long-term projects with established clients while advancing skills through training and certification support.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrical Certificate, or Active Apprenticeship Certificate.
• Conduit experience would be considered an asset.
• Industrial Oil & Gas sector experience is an asset.
• Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), and CSTS 2020 certs.
• Flexible schedule including shift work.
• Ability to travel is considered an asset.
• Valid Class 5 driver's licence (preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and construction tasks on industrial oil and gas projects in Sparwood area.
• On-site troubleshooting and equipment repair.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure safety and quality standards.

Job description

Techmation Electric & Controls Ltd is currently seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Journeyman & Apprentices for work with our Sparwood branch. Candidates must have strong instrumentation industrial maintenance experience working within the Oil & Gas sector. This position will be for both maintenance projects located within the Sparwood area. Shifts will be a 7 on, 7 off shift.

Techmation works on a variety of industrial oil and gas construction and maintenance projects throughout Western Canada. As a successful applicant, you will have the opportunity to work on full-time, long-term industrial projects with well-established and reputable clients.

Candidates willing to relocate will be offered relocation assistance and will be given preference for currently open positions.

Requirements:

• Journeyman Electrical Certificate, or
• Active Electrical Apprenticeship Certificate
• Previous conduit experience would be considered an asset
• Previous electrical construction experience within the Industrial Oil & Gas sector would be considered an asset
