Role Summary

We seek a skilled E&I Maintenance Superintendent to lead maintenance operations at our New Westminster plant. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, problem-solving skills, safety commitment, and the ability to inspire and manage teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintenance Operations: Use CMMS for KPI tracking, planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance within budget.
2. Technical Skills: Read electrical drawings, respond to electrical service requests, maintain electrical systems.
3. Team Leadership: Lead and develop E&I teams, oversee hiring, performance reviews, and KPI setting.
4. Safety & Compliance: Promote safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead safety program improvements.
5. Project Management: Collaborate on project execution, manage change, and ensure minimal operational disruption.
6. Financial Oversight: Support budgeting, expenditure analysis, and cost control.
7. Substation & Vendor Support: Oversee substation operations and maintain vendor relationships for technology updates and obsolescence management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years in Electrical Maintenance, preferably in pulp & paper, manufacturing, or heavy industry.
• Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, reliability practices, PLC, and Delta-V (asset).
• Commitment to safety and proactive troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and adaptability skills.

What We Offer

Competitive salary range of $110,000 to $135,000+ based on experience, along with benefits including health programs, wellness credits, bonus, retirement plans, tuition reimbursement, and more.
