Job summary

Sky Eye Measurement is seeking an Intermediate Electrical & Instrumentation Designer to produce electrical and instrumentation deliverables for industrial, energy and facility projects. This hands-on role fits a designer with 5–10 years of combined electrical and instrumentation design experience who can work independently on defined scopes and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering Technology
• Five to ten years of electrical and instrumentation design experience
• Experience taking an E&I package from P&ID through issued-for-construction

Responsibilities

• Develop single line diagrams, three-line diagrams, schematics and elementary control diagrams for power distribution systems.
• Prepare electrical site plans, equipment layouts, cable tray and conduit routing, lighting layouts and grounding drawings.
• Produce hazardous area classification drawings per CSA/ISA standards.
• Coordinate design with process, mechanical, piping, structural and civil disciplines.
