Electrical Engineering Technologist
Entegrus Powerlines operates and maintains electricity distribution systems for over 63,000 customers in Southwestern Ontario. We are committed to operating with local values in mind, while delivering safe, reliable, and exceptional service to our customers, partners, and communities.
Entegrus requires an Electrical Engineering Technologist for its Chatham or St. Thomas office. Reporting to the Supervisor of Engineering, this position is responsible for the design, layout and project manage construction projects, as well as liaising with customers to complete new service requests.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful applicant will be a self-motivated individual with the demonstrated ability to work as a team player and ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations, the IHSA rulebook and company policies and procedures.
This position is a full-time union position based on the IBEW Collective Agreement. Current hours of work are from 7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. The successful applicant must be available to assist with after hour emergencies as required.
