Job summary

TYLin Toronto, ON is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for a 4-month internship with start options in January 2027 (Winter) or May 2027 (Summer).

As part of a collaborative team, you will assist engineers on project support tasks, learn to read plans, perform quantity take-offs, help with scheduling, CAD modeling, progress reports, and the production of drawings under supervision; pursuing a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, with CAD tools like AutoCAD and Revit, and MS Word/Excel

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled pursuing a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering at an accredited university.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel and engineering software.
• Exposure to AutoCAD and Revit CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Become familiar with engineering plans and details.
• Perform quantity take-offs.
• Assist with project monitoring and scheduling.
• Assist with computer modeling.
• Assist with producing progress reports.
• Collaborate with other engineers, drafters, and support staff.
• Assist in production of engineering drawings, calculations, and cost estimates under supervision.
• Apply proper codes and standards in engineering deliverables.
