Introba in Victoria, BC is seeking an Electrical Engineering Designer intern for the Summer of 2027 to gain hands-on experience across diverse building projects.

You will work with engineers, drafters, and support staff to study plans, perform quantity take-offs, assist with computer modeling, and help produce progress reports under close supervision. This internship emphasizes collaboration, learning, and real contribution to sustainable, net-zero design challenges.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering Degree from an accredited university program.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel and engineering software.
• Exposure to Computer-aided design software (AutoCad, Revit).

Responsabilités

• Become familiar with engineering plans and details.
• Perform quantity take-offs.
• Assist with project monitoring and scheduling.
• Assist with computer modeling.
• Assist with producing progress reports.
• Collaborate with other engineers, drafters, and support staff.
• Assist in production of engineering drawings, calculations, and cost estimates under close supervision of senior engineers.
• Ability to apply the use of proper codes and standards in the production of engineering deliverables.
