AtkinsRéalis in Mississauga, ON seeks an Engineering Student - Electrical for a Winter 2027 co-op. You will support design and delivery of nuclear electrical systems, work with cross-functional teams, and gain hands-on experience through mentoring and on-the-job learning.

You must be enrolled in a Canadian university program in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Science, or Math, and proficient with MS Office; familiarity with MATLAB, ETAP, and MathCAD is a plus.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Science, or Math Program at a Canadian University.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Aptitude for using analytical/design tools such as MATLAB, ETAP, and MathCAD.
• Ability to communicate effectively through technical writing and professional interactions.

Responsibilities

• Assist Engineers and Discipline Leads with day-to-day engineering activities and support design phases for electrical systems.
• Support development of electrical engineering deliverables for nuclear and conventional projects per QA programs.
• Coordinate tasks with multidisciplinary teams including Document Control, Project Management, and field teams.
• Facilitate document reviews and RFIs to support project execution.
• Attend technical and project coordination meetings and contribute to discussions.
