Job summary

Dawson College invites applications for a teaching position in Electrical or Computer Engineering. In addition to regular teaching duties, the role includes involvement in college-wide pedagogical days and active participation in departmental meetings.

The successful candidate will contribute to student-focused activities such as field trips, competitions and the year-end Graduate Exhibition, and perform other department-related administrative duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 3 years appropriate industrial experience.
• Teaching experience at the College level an asset.
• Excellent English communication skills essential.
• General knowledge of French is an asset.

Note: The selection committee may, exceptionally, recommend to the College that pertinent additional professional and/or industrial experience be considered in lieu of the stated minimum educational requirement. Candidates to be considered under this option must have completed at least the equivalent of a College level diploma (DEC). Education superior to the stated minimum requirement may be substituted for professional / industrial experience at the discretion of the selection committee.
