Job summary

Dawson College in Montreal invites applications for a teaching position in Computer Science. The role combines regular classroom instruction with active participation in departmental activities and student-centered events.

The successful candidate will have a DEC or Bachelor’s in Computer Science with relevant experience, strong English communication, and a commitment to inclusive education on a multicultural campus. French is an asset, as are teaching and industry experiences.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Computer Science or related field with required industry/teaching experience.
• Formal teaching capability or willingness to engage in pedagogical activities.
• Strong English communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Regular teaching responsibilities in Computer Science courses.
• Participation in pedagogical days organized by the College.
• Attendance at departmental meetings.
• Involvement in student-focused activities such as field trips, competitions, and Graduate Exhibition.
• Performing other department related administrative duties.

• Technical knowledge within the subject matters taught by the department and an ability and interest to learn.
• Excellent English communication skills.
